Apple Dumplings (Thanks, Cindy)
1 granny smith apple – cored, peeled, cut into 8 slices
1 can crescent rolls
6 Tbsp butter
¾ cup sugar
5 oz Sprite or 7-up
Wrap apple slice in crescent roll dough. Arrange in pan.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
In a small pan, melt butter and add sugar to melted butter. Remove from heat and add Sprite. Pour butter/sugar/sprite mixture over rolled apples. Bake 30-35 minutes in 350 degree oven.
